UN x Covid-19

At the outset of the Covid-19 pandemic, the UN’s – World Health Organization turned to the world’s creative companies with an urgent request: develop an iconic, universal design system to combat the greatest pandemic of our generation. They needed a way to communicate vital information across multiple cultures as part of their effort to encourage tolerance and curb the spread of the disease.

It is an honor to have created the global system to help thousands of people around the world.

Earth Day

Earth Day is an annual event celebrated around the world on April 22 to demonstrate support for environmental protection. Celebrated for the first time in 1970, it now includes events coordinated globally by the Earth Day Network in more than 193 countries.

I was invited to make the official look for the 50th anniversary of the global Earth Day. To warn about global warming, a poster was created using the “Moiré” technique of optical illusion where even static shapes generate “movement”.

E Se FC

Everybody says that football doesn’t have what ifs.

This is a personal project created at the time of Russia
World Cup 2018, that we bring what ifs situations to life.

What if Ronaldo didn’t arrive at time from the hospital to the
dressing room in 98?

What if Barbosa defended the shot from Ghiggia in 50?

What if Maradona received the red card in 86?

Always inspired by the design and visuals of each era,

the project will soon become a book with 12 episodes.

McCafé

When you’re feeling sleepy, you just can’t think straight. You can’t concentrate, you’re not aware of everything that surrounds you and it makes everything just more difficult, sometimes dangerous. That’s why we wanted to raise awareness of how a single coffee transforms everything you do, from driving, to listening to music or even watching a movie, but we wanted to do it in a fun way, resembling how things work inside our brains before and after coffee. The campaign was located near cinemas, dangerous roads and music schools, resembling how life changes after a cup of coffee.

FVLA

FVLA is Chiat Day’s special projects unit. An incubator of ideas. A department to bring concepts that would normally be unfeasible into fruition.

And true to its origin of “favela”, FVLA excels in working quickly, improvising, and finding unorthodox solutions to produce fresh ideas.

The visual identity we created for the FVLA is inspired by Brutalism — and a bespoke 3D lettering was created to translate the care and craft this production unit pours into each and every detail. And how a simple sketch can rapidly and in an unexpected way turn into something beautiful.
